For anyone who has the complete ssm kit
I wanted to know how is changed the handling of your car. I want to install this kit on my car along with a chevelle 12 bolt but I like the way my car hanldles now. Would you reccomend it for a daily driven car or not? Is there any flex at all in the rear when coming out of a driveway or is it really stiff?

I've got the complete kit, but so far have only installed the subframe connectors. The lift bars require a professional to weld them in and since I bought them I have been semi put off the idea. For one, my car is lowered 1.5" and the kit hangs down pretty low. Also you are adding a lot of weight to the car (even if it is the rear). But the main thing is that you are changing the suspension set up of our cars by elimating the torque arm.. I would need to hear some good stories before I commited to them, for now they are still in my shed
That is what I want to do, remove the torque arm and put a 12 bolt in. I can put this rear in and save a whole lot of money than buying a strange or ktre rear. I have figured it will cost me 1300 to have a 12 bolt in there with the ssm suspention.
3.73 rear $400
ssm kit $450
driveshaft $300
rebuild brakes $150 at most
It looks like this is the way to go if I hear some good stories about people running the kit on the street.
