just what the title says, I already swapped my 84 z28 to a 5.3 ls motor.
I plan on building a turbo set up here in the next month or two.
I have already searched the forums and I'm still not 100% on a few things
I want to upgrade my k member, ive seen good things about bmr, umi, and pa racing.
all 3 give options for a power steering rack, which that is what I want.
Ive seen that a 97 tbird rack works well, but what I'm not clear on is if I can run my stock spindles or need those drop ones?
I have a 16in wheel on the front right now and my tie rod ends clear fine.
will I be able to use that rack and stock spindles? haven't seen that answered anywhere.
also what is needed to connect that rack to my stock steering shaft? haven't seen that answered anywhere also.
and last, its not really that important but would just like to know what k member has worked best with going this route? and if anyone has any pictures of their set ups!

These are some threads with pics of what you're talking about
They will work with stock spindles and rear gta 16s, I'm currently running this exact setup.
Not certain on the steering shaft but it uses a 4th gen column
When you get the k member made have the motor mount moved to clear the shaft.
Hope that clears up confusion.
