Eibach prokit / Hotchkis
Thinking about lowering my camaro . Which springs will give the most drop when settled , the eibach prokit or hotchkis springs? Both claim 1" front and rear .

Re: Eibach prokit / Hotchkis
Eibach Pro Kit: 714 lb/in linear front 1 inch lower front
109/177 lb/in progressive rear 1 inch lower rear
Eibach Sportline: 700 lb/in linear front 1.6 inch lower front
80/137 lb/in progressive rear 1.3 inch lower rear
The Hotchkis I "believe" are 600 lb/in on the fronts. For the added cost over the Eibach with no performance gain, I would recommend the Pro-Kit.
I don't recommend the Sportlines to anybody. They're for looks only. Ride quality is going to be bad. The fronts are OK. But the rear end uses the bump stops on purpose. No performance benefit over the Pro-Kit.
Something to remember though, the advertised 1" drop may very well be less than that. When I replaced my original sagging springs with new stock height springs, the driver sides went up by 1.7" (front) and 1.5" (rear). Passenger side less so (0.25"). So in my case, putting some Pro-Kit springs on would have made the driver side higher than my original springs were.
