UMI SFC clearance issue

has anyone had a problem with these hitting the y pipe? I have a hedman y pipe it rubs on it pretty good.

Also are the majority of you doing the pinch welds on these and/or tacking them to the floor pan?

I have a funny feeling my clamshells are not on the correct sides. Is it possible to hoist the motor up, remove the motor mounts and swap the clamshells?
