I believe that moroso sells springs of various stiffness. I don't know off hand what the stock ones are though. Someone posted a good setup, check the archives. I will probably just buy new stock springs.
A lowered car willl handle better because of its lower center of gravity. Drop springs mess up the suspension geometry. Drop spindles keep this geometry. Either way, you should buy LCA relocation brackets, adjustable panhard bar, and depending on how low you go, an adjustable torque arm. With these parts, you will keep the rearend geometry and prolong the life of the axle.

Drop spindles do not change suspension angles, so they are a better way to lower a car, but lowering springs can actually have a positive effect on handling by making the tire 'lean' inboard a little. the bad thing is this eats through tires faster be making them wear on the inside edge.
