Question about chassis part, what is it?
Ok so I have been out of the car scene since the early 90's. Last "cool" car I had was a 1978 Trans Am. I just bought a 1988 IROC that has a pretty beefy 454 stuffed in it. It's caged and has a lot of work already done to make it strip worthy.
My question is about a part that I don't know what it is called. It is a bar that runs from the rear of the transmission to the rear end. It's parallel to the drive shaft. What do they call that puppy?
Thanks for tolerating my ignorance. I need to get up to speed on this stuff and I figured this would be the place to start.
