What is the smallest drop I can get?

I am looking to get my car very slightly lowered. Extremely small drop, no more than .5 inch dropped because I want to make sure the stock tires and wheels will still fit well. my 275/40/17 tires are slightly smaller than the stock rims and the car looks jacked up. What is the cheapest way to get about a .5 inch drop?

Cutting the springs that you have now would be the cheapest way, and would allow you to go with very little drop. Eibach Pro Kit springs drop 3rd G F-bodies 1". You should be able to go that. You can get custom springs too from places like http://www.bluecoilspring.com/
