Rear spring recommendations

Installed the Vogtland lowering springs and while the front is great, the rear would sit about even with the front and was too soft. Even with my KYB AGX shocks set as firm as possible, they allow too much rear suspension travel and feel too soft. I put the OEM rear springs back in with the isolators replaced by heater hose and the ride is perfect, but now sits a full inch higher in the back. Looking at the BMR rear lowering springs (supposedly 1.25 inch lower) to get closer to even height front-to-back with somewhat stock feel but thought I'd ask the forum if they have any experience with any particular rear spring.

Hmm that's weird I've got those Vogtland springs and my ride is way better than with my stock springs installed

Re: Rear spring recommendations

As much as you're fiddling with this, I'd just get a set of rear weight jacks and stop hassling with ride height. After you have the weight jacks you can buy different springs in 50 lb/in increments. But usually ride quality comes down to needing different shocks, not so much the springs.

I think UMI sells the rear weight jacks individually. Ground Control won't sell you just the rear set, last time I checked. Not sure whether or not Detroit Speed has rear sets.

Re: Rear spring recommendations

Thanks, guys. I was mistaken when I said I had the shocks set full firm. They were at "5" out of "8". I have re-installed the Vogtland springs with an extra 1/4-inch rubber bushing on top (in addition to the OEM spring pad) and set the shocks on "8" to see how that works. I'd like the back to be just a bit higher than the front (1/4- to 1/2-inch) so I may try a set of 4th gen rear isolator pads if this isn't where I want it. Weight jacks would be the obvious choice here, for sure, if I wasn't so cheap.
