Rough ride 90 Gta

Ok I have a question, I’m trying to understand why my gta rides so rough. It has the Fe-2 option.? My question is, where there different levels of wS-6 suspensions?

Re: Rough ride 90 Gta

I remember these cars riding rough from the factory. In saying that keeping good shocks, struts, etc etc is key. First thing I done when I bought mine was take it to a front end shop and told them replace EVERYTHING.

Re: Rough ride 90 Gta

FE2 is WS6. 90% of the time, the shocks and struts are bad, and/or they're cheap garbage from the corner auto parts store. Bilsteins or Konis are about the only game in town for good shocks and struts for a FE2 thirdgen, and Bilstein stopped making the struts. Cheap tires, an larger wheels is another common cause of complaints. Less sidewall means rougher ride.

Maybe it's a dog, rough, rough - Just kidding.

Need context - what do you have, do you know? Anything aftermarket? Worn out?
The suspension system is engineered to take into account: weight of car, springs, dampers, swaybar, weight of wheel assemblies.
