Braided steel front brake lines

What brands of braided steel front brake lines are people using? Where did you get them? How much did they cost?

I have the Earl's braided stainless brake line kit.Made more of a difference than I imagined it would, and they were easy to install.Originally was going to order the Russell set, but they were out of stock at Summit, so they suggested the Earl's .Don't think there's really any difference between the two.Think I paid about $70.
Pedal is noticeably firmer.

... make sure you get the 5 hose kit. Lf Ft, Rt Ft, Lf Rr, Rt Rr and body-2 axle. Not sure if the stuff in Summit is.

Ground Control has the kit but it's ~ 130 bux.

I don't know about Earl's but beware of the Russell lines. The body-to-axle line has a weak spot in it (specifically the "T" fitting on the rear end) and can break fairly easily.

I know two people who broke theirs while working on their cars (a small bump is all it took) and mine broke mysteriously from daily driving. Fluid all over the rear end and brakes went mush. I've taken this up with Russell and am sending them the broken lines. They tell me they're going to show them to R&D.

Are these DOT legal, I was under the impression they weren't? Thanks.

Yep, the Earl's and Russel's are DOT Approved.
