3 Point Strut Tower brace for L69 Dual Snorkel

I am interested in purchasing a 3 point strut tower brace for my 84 Z28 with an L69 engine that does not interfere with the dual snorkels or the driver side AC compressor. I have searched the forums but no one seems to have talked about this in almost 20 years.

When looking at photos of the Detroit Speed Inc. 3 pt STB, it looks like it may have enough clearance but was curious if anyone has tried it before.

Any experience or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Either the DSE or the QA1 (formerly an edelbrock part) should clear. The snorkel will sit inside the "triangle" of the STB and the legs of the snorkel should fit under the front bar.

The QA1/edelbrock will fit, but you may not clear the hood.Unless you have the factory fiberglass hood. Also the AC housing will just barely clear the 3pt bars by about 1/8. So you may have to mount the bars on top of the STB. My 84 w/ edl stb/glass hood
