MAC Strut Tower Brace
The Mac strut tower brace says that it will fit 82-92 camaros... is this true because I know that there are a lot of different situations that would cause a STB to not fit.
I have an 84 L69 Dual Snorkel with a driver side a/c compressor.
I am looking for a STB that will bolt on with no modification.

My old man's got a mac stb on his 91 t/a.. it looks as though it is specifically designed to clear tuned port, and wouldn't be able to clear your dual snorkle intake. I ordered mine from LM performance (do a search if you want their website), and I vaguely recall them asking if the car was tuned port or if it was carbed/tbi..

Re: MAC Strut Tower Brace
If you order a STB for a TBI car, it should clear. I dont know about MAC, but edelbrock makes one for both TPI and TBI.

Re: MAC Strut Tower Brace
I have the Chrome polished Mac strut tower brace... Bolts onto the strut towers directly with no modification... Looks awesome... DOES make a difference in turning, less lean in the turns... Didn't notice any difference in preventing rattles though, for a hundred bucks it's worth the extra exileration you can get while turning... Plus it looks killer under the hood... So far so good I didn't have any probs with mine only had for like 500 miles though so far.
