eibach sportlines sits high?

I ordered and installed the sportlines in my 86 trans am and it didn’t lower it much, i didn’t really expect the rears to lower because i had cut springs before but the front i had 1 inch lowering springs so i swapped them out for the sportlines which stated 1.6 drop but it’s at the same height it was. from all the pictures i’ve seen of third gens on sportlines they look very low but for some reason they just didn’t for my car. i know i have them sitting in the top right so i’m lost, if anyone can come up with a reason it’d be great to know.

(BE CAREFUL)!!! Make sure the numbers on the springs themselves match the part number 4.0138.

I ordered a Eibach Pro Kit back in early 2000's from Jegs or Summit one, the box was correct, we put them in not paying any attention, it (RAISED IT 1") got to looking and the spring was in the wrong box, right box for the car, wrong spring in the box!!! Had to send them back.

it does have the correct part number i made sure to check before installing i’m just really confused because when i took my 1in lowering springs out and compared them to the new springs the sportlines were a good 1.5-2in shorter which i wanted but it didn’t lower any i’m not sure how long they take to settle but i wouldn’t think too long

Make sure the front springs are indexed to sit in the pocket correctly or it will add height.
My sportlines sit about as low as i would dare go and still be able to drive on the street

isn’t the spring supposed to cover one of the two holes? i remember i could get them all the way back to the hole because the spring compressor i rented was junk, that could be my problem
