I'm off the a slow start, I'm trying to swap in a 9"ford rear on my 87. First two nuts I looked at are on the control arm, it has no socket size that I know of, I miked it and it is 18.5 mm or .73 inch I have nothing that will fit on it. socket or wrench. Am I missing something here. 23/32 maybe that's just over .71. anyone have any thoughts? Does anyone a a schematic with the nut and bolt sizes that are on this rear.

No, but pulled one out of a '84 Camaro, and a '83 Firebird. I don't remember needing any special-size wrenches or sockets when I did it...

All the bolts are metric. You're going to need an assortment of 18, 19, and 21 mm sockets and wrenches if I remember right. I think my aftermarket torque arm bolts are even bigger than that and tighten up over 200 ft-lbs. It helps to have a big *** torque wrench.
