What tranny and rearend does a 87 camaro have. Are there any ways to get more power and torque out of the motor.If so what are they and are they worth it.

Auto or 5 speed?
'87 Autos came with the 700R4 and a 10 bolt rear with 3.42's.
'87 5 speeds came with a Borg-Warner T5 with a 10 bolt rear and 3.42's.

a turbo muffler looks like any other. its just a cheapy performance muffler. i got it at my local advance auto parts. on the box it said cherry bomb turbo muffler. only cost $18 and sounds pretty good
