Air Pump Check Valve (Also called A.I.R. something)
Air Pump Check Valve (Also called A.I.R. something)
Have any of you replaced this part or even know what I am talking about? At the end of the piece there is a part that a tube should fit on, do any of you know where this tube connects to? Also, there is a note that came with the new Air Pump Check Valve that says before replacing your air pump valve, verify the operation of the air management/diverter valve. What in the name is that, where do I find it? I think I have heard of it before but cant remember really. Any help would be awesome. Thanks

ok.. looking at the tube that comes up from the 'Verter, you will see a Black part about 4 inches long that has a large (2") diameter circle/disk type looking thing twoards the front of the car. It has a rubber hose conected to the front that does a 90 deg turn downward. This is the One way Check valve. The rubber line/hose goes down to the air pump output tube. The Dirverter Valve is built into the valve system on the back of the air pump. I do not know if you can take it off or not, I believe you can though. BUT you can get a new air pump for HALF the price of the Diverter Valve.
