Sophn Subframe Connectors....
Curious if they would be able to clear a full 3" exhuast system on my car. My y-pipe comes down to a 3" at the collector and from then on its a 3" cat-back w/o a cat.
Just curious. Thank u.

LoL, I noticed that when I came to see what u guys said and was like, "Oh crap, someone is gonna mention that" LoL, sure enough.
Sorry about that.
Sorry about that. Here's a question though, is Spohn overkill unless you're going all out drag car with it?
I've got T-tops, and especially with the cold weather, I can hear every creak and rattle. I just want something to stiffen it up, no need to make it bombproof really.
Should I still go for Spohn, or will a cheap-o set do?

I've got Spohn parts, quality and service was VERY good. You might get better deals elsewhere and there are others here who can give different recommendations but thats for you to decide.
SFC's are not overkill at all. Properly installed they will eliminate almost all squeaks and rattles . Your car will feel completely different when you drive it.

Got to love them.
I have all Spohn suspension. It is the best.
The sub frames clear my 3" exhaust and definitely should be a first mod for everyone.
And should be a requirement for a convertable or a T-Top car.
These are definitely not overkill, but are excellent quality.

My plan is to do spohn sfc's BEFORE the 3 inch exhaust setup goes in. That way, I can have the exhaust made to fit the connectors, and not compromise any component, rather than notching the connectors or improperly installing them, or changing the exhaust, thereby compromising something.
