Wonderbar on 2.8 V6
I’m considering ordering a TDS Wonderbar for my 1987 Firebird with the 2.8 V6. Since the lower radiator hose is on the driver’s side, it would have to be squeezed or I would have to make a spacer for it (an easy job from what I’ve heard.) Personally, I’m a bit incompetent and don’t want to mess with making a spacer.
All that said, does anyone here currently have the TDS wonderbar on their V6 like mine? If so, how’s it been holding up with the squished hose?

Sorry can't give any insight on installing this on a V6 But I will say that it would be definitely worth the hassle, these cars are heavy even with the V6's. Maybe post this on the V6 board?
Maybe this'll help

Re: Wonderbar on 2.8 V6
Installed the TDS wonderbar along with two new polyurethane bushings where the sway bar mounts. Took about an hour but I was going at a pretty casual pace.
Overall, it was the same process (obviously) as a car with the radiator filler neck on the passenger side. It was more annoying to line up the bolts on the brackets but this didn’t really have anything to do with the wonderbar. The lower radiator hose was squished but not too much at all.
The wonderbar was high quality, I had a good interaction with the owner of TDS over my questions, it was an easy install and the suspension was noticeably tighter in a good way. It’s definitely worth the money and time.

Re: Wonderbar on 2.8 V6
Glad you were able to install my steering brace. As I said the brace impinging the lower radiator hose will not effect the coolant flow through that hose. It will change the shape of the hose from round to an oval, but the inside area is mostly unaffected. There may be concern about constant contact eventually wearing a hole in the hose. Spacers between the sway bar mount brackets and the frame will solve this issue. Also consider buying the longer M10-1.50×40 flanged hex head mount bolts TDS P/N 115140 availing my web site.
