Rear spring isolators

Are they worth replacing? If so, with what? I am finally (after 10+ years) getting around to finishing reassembling my bird, and I am looking at these to see if I need to replace them: I ran them through the sandblaster, and they seem ok.

Re: Rear spring isolators

Kinda depends on what your doing with the car? Are you keeping it factory ride height or lowering the car? If your lowering the car with lowering springs you may or may not get the desired effect after with the lowering spring and using the factory isolators as they will add height somewhere between 1/2" and 1" depending on their condition. If they don't give you the effect your going for you could ditch them and use heater hose as an isolator. If you do reuse them you might wanna put a coat paint on the bare steel to help prevent rust.

Rear spring isolators

My Camaro is lowered on Global West springs. I replaced my stock rear isolators with Prothane# 61709BL to reduce the raked look. The isolators are for 99-04 Cobras and fit perfect.
