Front sway bar bushings and hardware kit 1985 IROC
Where can I find replacement Front sway bar bushings and hardware for 1985 IROC camaro? Rock Auto only carries kits for the rear. Sway Bar Bushing Set; Performance Polyurethane
Re: Front sway bar bushings and hardware kit 1985 IROC
Front end links are the same part #s as the rear. Doesn't get much simpler.
To get the right bushings, measure your sway bar diameter right next to them, with calipers if you have them, or by what sizes of wrenches are the largest that doesn't fit and the smallest that does, if not. Then buy the ES kit that's the next size smaller than your measurements. If I were the guessing kind I'd guess you have the 34mm bar, which since ES kits come in Imperial sizes, for which you'd want the 1-5/16" ones. You can get em from several of the board sponsors, Summit/Jeg's, your local speed shop, probably even the parts store down at the corner; doesn't have to be from rockauto if you can't look em up strictly by size to get the right #. You can measure your rear bar the same way to make sure you've got the right ones: it's probably 24mm, in which case you should probably use 15/16". But measure to be sure.

Thanks for the info. Why all the different sizes for sway bars?? They could have kept it simple and only offered a few sizes...Are the front and rear the same size??? 34mm or 24mm?? THX...Joe I found Driveworks Suspension Sway Bar Link Kit at Advanced Auto Parts. DW-K5252
