Looking to buy a suspension kit
I’m looking to buy a suspension kit for my 1991 camaro rs. Anyone have a recommendation on a brand that is worth it and won’t end up being complete junk.

Re: Looking to buy a suspension kit
You have plenty of options and each brand has their own positives and negatives. None will leave you disappointed however, and they are all very similar in what you get. You'll find most folks prefer UMI, Founders, Spohn and BMR. However, those aren't the only options. Detroit speed has a few unique parts for these cars as well. What parts of the suspension are you targeting? That may help give you a more specific answer.

I’m looking to replace everything. It’s original so 33 years old parts. I’d rather replace it all in one go rather than lift it multiple times. They still work but they are starting to wear out after being driven daily for the last year and a half.

You could also just opt for bushing replacements if you don't want to go the full aftermarket route.

I've always enjoyed Spohn products. re did my entire front end and steering with Spohn stuff earlier this year, no complaints. Going to be installing their subframe connectors in the next week or two as well.

Re: Looking to buy a suspension kit
I have their an arms, wonder bar, tubular torque arm and cross member, an arms, and their front steering kit. all of it is super nice. i did all founders tubular stuff in the rear years ago that’s also been great as well. i just like the idea of sticking with one brand, will make it easy when i eventually put their K member in and the a arms i have will bolt right up
Re: Looking to buy a suspension kit
This kit replaces all of the steering linkage, includes everything except the pitman arm (which doesn't wear out). It includes Proforged parts which have a lifetime warranty and use a tubular tie rod connector which is a big upgrade over stock. Between this kit and a new steering shaft the car will drive much better, since those are the main parts that wear out. A new steering box, shocks, ball joints and control arm bushings would complete the front end parts.
