Is there anyway to narrow the track width on 3rd gen ?
Not really, unless you can find the kind of spacers that take space out, instead of putting space in. I used to know where to get those; but the store that had them, who also had the square-hole drill bits and the bolts with an offset in them and lots of other useful things, went out of business some years ago.

I was hoping some aftermarket shop to offer machined hub with the stud flange a bit deeper than the "original" one.
It would be quite expensive to get some machined specially for my application.
I hope with the hub thickness slightly reduced and a bit of negative camber that would be fine.
Have you tried to turn the wheels to look for interference? Is there any contact any where? Most people w 18x10s are looking for some pretty aggressive driving and usually mod the car quite a bit. I have 18x10s rear and 18x9s front on my 82 TA. It's on weight jacks and is petty low, there's very mild rubbing up front when at full lock. Do you have a side view showing how much the wheels stick out? In the pic you have, they don't look that bad.
Front tires are rubbing on fender wells (frt and rr side of the fender wells) at full lock.
I Will modify the car in the future but i'm not in a hurry.

i checked the camber using a bubble level. It seems all wheels have tiny positive camber which surprised me concerning the rear.

There's not really any way to do that. No metal to remove. (or at least, not enough to make any real difference to your issue, without making it so thin it would be useless) Similar in that way to the "spacer" problem.

There's not much to grind on the hub (machined from OEM rotor) for sure. It seems that the 3rd gen flange is a bit thicker than the one from C4 frt hub but i don't have any left from my previous C4 so i can't check it out.
If it's thicker, i may be able to slightly reduce the track width then, set some negative camber and it should be good. Rotor flange thickness is usually around 7mm so it's not that big.
I'm pretty sure custom machined hub would be perfect but it'd cost as much as the whole brake kit or a new set of front wheels...

Your car looks like a mecum trans am. If it is, I'd get different wheels and not cut it up. Those are cool cars.

You're right, it's a MSE trans am.
I'm not going to replace fenders and quarter panels nor will i cut it up. I think the rear is going to be fine. The front as well till i swap to big brakes. By that time i'll get the same wheels with a bit of ET. I think that it's available with ET12 mm. Mine are ET00 so i have a solution if it doesn't work as is.
I had to choose between both and didn't choose the right ones.
When you install big brakes, they will push the wheels out another 1/4" to 3/8" farther on each side in front, so don't forget to calculate the new wheel's offset for that, or you could be in this same situation again.
