Power steering only working at idle

So I got an interesting issue with my car a few days ago. Swerved to avoid someone pulling out in front of me and now I have no power steering unless I rev to a little above cold idle speeds. Halfway through replacing the steering box since it leaked like crazy but I'm also wondering if it could be the pump. The pump is a remanufactured one and barely a year old. Pump makes no strange noises and all the belts are tight. Thoughts?

Sounds like a bad pump or air in the lines. If the box was leaking it may have run low and burnt up the pump. Where are you getting a new box from? The big auto parts stores usually have resealed old boxes that are hit or miss. I wouldn't toss your old box.
