Alum. Brake Drums
Alum. Brake Drums
Well, 2 basic questions
1 - Would I really notice any difference in braking/accelerating/handling with them?
2 - What would a fair price be for a nice pair?
(I am talking to a guy about it right now...)

Yes you will notice a LITTLE difference off the line with the aluminum drums (less unsprung weight) . Don't pay more than 10 bucks for each used drum though! Junkyards have them on v6's camaros and some G-Body cars (i.e. 78-87 grand prix, standard Monte carlos, Buick Regals, Olds Cutlass)
When your budget allows, get a set of 3.42 gears, recalibrate the governor and speedometer then maybe a 1LE driveshaft. This will put a better smile on your face

I didnt notice any difference. Remember to get used drums turned before installing them. Most of the time used ones will have light rust on the steel liner.
