Newly set up suspension.
Quick question on suspension.
I just finished putting the front and rear suspension on my '84 Trans Am and right now it's sitting on wheel dollies so I can move it around the garage a bit if I need to. The engine is sitting in the bay, it's got iron heads & iron intake manifold so it's pretty hefty, but there's no radiator or coolant in it, no front bumper, and no hood, and there's some stuff in the trunk area but probably less than 100lbs. However, the front is sitting a whole 2" higher (6" between the top of the tires and the fenders) than the back (4" between the top of the tires and the quarter panels). Is this normal at first? Will the front suspension settle that much more than the rear over time? The front springs I used were Moog 5610 because Moog told me that they were the correct springs to use for a Trans AM as opposed to the other sets. Rear springs are Moog CC635, shocks for front and rear are all KYB Exel-G so nothing crazy. Not sure if it matters, but the control arms (front and back) torque arm, sway bars, wonder bar, and shock tower tops for the front are all UMI.
