Rim and Tire Size
Can I fit 245/55/16's on an 86 firebird that originally came with 215/65/15's? What mods if any would I need to do?

Axle/Gears: 3.73 posi with spacer
No different sized rims, but you can fit 255/55/15's,

Im confused now.... One guy says they wont fit but on guy says they will? Does anyone know for sure?

I think one guy is telling you that you can't fit 16" tires on a 15" rim and another guy is telling you, you can fit 16" tires as long as you use a 16" rim. Get it?
