Front rubber spring isolater - necessary??

My passenger side is missing the top rubber - what is the penalty for not using these things? If I need one is this something a local parts store would have??

The penatly is potentially noisey (read squeaky) suspension. I'd definitely replace any that are missing. I'm not sure if the local AP store will carry them.

You could just cut a piece of heater hose and slip it over the first coil on each spring and just remove other isolator.

Thanks guys. I just was in a hurry to get things put back together tonite, and wanted to see if I could cut some corners. I'll look around for a new one, I'm sure if a parts store doesn't have one maybe a Midas or someplace will.
