have tire problem, what would you guys do?
here's the deal, a friend of mines brought me two brand new bf goodrich comp t/a's, 245/45-zr-16.
the problem is i wanted the 50 series, i have no receipt and the tire shop will not let me exchange them, so what should I do.
the rears are 255/50-zr-16, how bad would this look if i go ahead and mount the 45s on the front.
thanks,

The 245/45 isabout 3/4 of an inch decrease in sidewall height compared to the 255/50. It shouldn't look bad. I had 205/60/15 in the front and 215/65/15 in the rear, it looked mean, its the same sidewall height difference.
It willbe fine 255x50% is 127.5cm and 245x45% is 110.25 cm. It will look great as long as the 255's are on the rear. They are the side wall hieghts. If you are the stock ride hight though, the fronts may look small
one thing to mention..
about tire size..
if the car or truck doesn't have the match tire size to the original that came with it....the speedometer may be inaccurate..after installing them..
so just to let you keep that in mind
