I need new rear meats. Since 245-50-16's are stock size, and since you cannot rotate front to back with IROC rims anyway , I was thinking of going one size larger / wider in the REAR.. That would be 255-50-16's. Anyone try this...and do they rub / scrape on rear fenders under ANY circumstances, like hard cornering on off-ramps, etc? And what brands of tires does anyone out there prefer? Thanks in advance.

They'll fit no sweat. I've got 285-40/17 0n my 86, and with the right back space and a 9" rim They never rub. You should'nt have any problems
