Help me with a clunking noise
Does anyone know what could be causing a clunking noise that is coming from the front right of the car when I turn. It kinda sounds like something is trying to escape from under the hood by trying to bang through. By the way it is a 84 Firebird. Thanks.

klunking noise
The sound you are hearing is most likely the fly rods. they usually seem to break easily. i have been through 3 sets in the last 2 years. probably beacuase of all the pot holes.
i just replaced the tie rods ends on my 92(inners and outers). mine were clinking pretty bad when the wheels were turned either way. stopped the noise but have to readjust idler arm height. hope this helps
