Hey there.. I have a 82 Z-28 and I have been looking for a rear end for months. I have not found what im looking for (3.73 POSI REAR) so my cousin is telling me since im planning on keeping my car, that I should do it right, with brand new parts. He said to keep my stock rear end, and put in the powertrack setup with a 3.73 ring/pinion and new bearings. What are your thoughts? I dont have posi right now on my rear end, its open end 2.73 rear, so if I get this powertrack, with the 3.73 ring/pinion it will make my rear end 3.73 posi, so do you think thats the route I should go, and not even bother buying another rear, just use the one I have? give me your thoughts, or let me know if you have any other ideas for me. thanks guys.
