bolt on sub frame connectors
hey guys i am lookin for the best bolt on subframe conectors i can buy. i don't have a welder and i don't trust any1 who does so wut are the best bolt on sub frame connectors? thanks. oh yea my car has t-tops and i am gonna put a pretty hot 327 in it. thanks. also if steve spohn has any input i would be very thankful.

Well i can't suggest any bolt on sub-frame connectors but i can suggest for you not to get them. I have heard that the bolt holes will begin to widen as body flex happens and there for making the sfc's in effective after a while. but go with your judgement on this one, it's your car and its up to you

has any1 heard anythign or used the jegster bolt in frame ties? they look like the best bolt in connectors out there. also wut are the disadvantages of bolt on
as stated above the bolt holes enlarger and the subframes become loose as a goose. what you can do is install them bolted in and they them welded, that way you know thay are in there right.

yea i think i will get the jegster ones now and then just have them welded in once i drop my 327 in. oh yea wuts your opinion should i go with a 350 with 2.02/1.60 port and polished heads and all that good stuff or with a 327 that will be rebuilt but was a stock 325 horse engine? i got the 327 for 50 bucks and its got 90,000 in it and ran a week ago when they pulled it and the 350 with the bottom end together with 50,000 and the heads all done for 200 that a machinest was builden but changed his mind. well thanks

Well i'll try to help here, i have also heard jegsters are good, so you'll be good with them. On the engine side of things, are you going to stay with the Tuned Port Injection or are you going to go carb? if your going to go carb i would go with the 327 but if your going with a TPI dont' go with the 327 because it likes to rev high and a TPI dont' like high rpms, so in that case, go with the 350. hope i helped

I would bolt them In and get them welded before long.

I have them on my Bird. They are eazy to install. I took 3 hours to do. I've only drove the car 10 times since I put them on last year. Maybe one day I'll get them welded in...

i think i am gonna go with the 350 carbed because the 327 needs a complete rebuild but the 350 already has the heads all done and port and pilished and the bottom end only has 50,000 on it so i will just re ring it and get new crank bearing and that would be awsome. yea i am gonna go with the jegsters and then have them welded in everntually. hey to any1 who put these on there cars do u have to drill and tap holes or do they use existing holes? thanks
