I have an 84 Trans Am that I swapped all of the WS6 parts from an 88 formula into. I just bought an 82 firebird as a project cat for my son and am wondering if my old gear box that was in my 84 T/A has the same ratio as the 82 firebird has right now. not sure yet if i should swap them. I can't count the turns on the old 84 T/A gear box b/c it is not in the car anymore so that test is out. just not sure if all firebirds and Trans Am's have the same steering ratio except of course for the WS6.
