Safe to remove front sway bar?

Just wondering if it is safe to remove front sway bar? It is daily driven in summer but not hard in corners. Any experiences?

Thanks
Andy

don't do it. the car will become less stable; more subject to body roll.
people undo them at the track to help weight transfer for launching.
why did you want to do this in the first place?

That is about the second fastest way I know of to wrap your car around a tree, with the first being slicks on a daily driver.

You guys must drive like maniacs. I have no swaybars and Biasply street/strip tires in the rear. you'll only experience more body roll in the turns. You guys must go into corners doing 60mph.

I pull the sway bar off and drive to the track, about 40 miles away and have no problems. You do have to watch how fast you get into a corner, still it handles better than a mini van.

All you have to do is take the end link off one side when your at the track, that will disconnect it enough to get the benifits of improved weight transfer. Then put it back in when your done and drive home. I would never drive on the street with out it.
