Are 89 up Discs and 4th Gen rear discs the Same?

Axle/Gears: 3.73 9 bolt
Are 89 up Discs and 4th Gen rear discs the Same?

Just like the topic says are 89 up rear discs and 4th Gen rear discs the same? I am talking about the PBR set up for the 89 up as well. thanks ricky

i think the 4th gear rear rotors are 12'' while the 89+ rotors are like 11.8'' or something like that

they are not the EXACT same but the are so damn close its not even funny. i put my 89 PBR brakes on a 4th gen rear end, i just had to modify my stock backing plates for the new rear end

Axle/Gears: 3:42 / 3:27
They are pretty close until you get to the 98+ brakes. They are a combination of drum/disc. They use the drum for the ebrake.
