Weld on or Bolt on SFC's?????
What are the pros and cons of weld on and bolt on SFC's? Which kind did you buy, and why? I have heard that it takes 3-4hrs to weld on the SFC's and I'm not the best welder so I would have to have someone install them so I'm leaning towards the bolt on type. How long do the bolt-ons take to install, do you have to drill at all. What brand do you recamend? Sorry for all of the Q's, I don't know anything about SFC's.
Thanks

Weld in is the way to go. The bolt in will loosen and elongate the holes with time. Also don't use a stick welder for them. MIG or TIG are the way to go. An AC stick welder will tend to burn holes in the sheet metal frame of the car redily (don't ask how I discovered this). Find a muffler shop with a drive-on style lift. If they have installed SFC's before it should take 1-1/2 -2 hrs. It's really not that hard if you have the right equipment. Good luck, Lon.
