I am wondering if I can install edelbrock #5226 TPI three points Strut Tower Brace on my 87 Trans AM GTA, from this forum I saw some article said this one can not install on Trans am cause it can not close the hood, but it can install on camaro, is this true? Is there anybody tried to install on a Trans AM, what modification I need?

Frankie's strut tower brace is the hotchkis model.

Roshambo (Joe) has an edelbrock stb on his '88 TA. You can see a pic of it in the Cascade Crew Member Rides here. There should be no difference in hood clearance between his '88 TA and your '87 GTA.
