Any problems w/ Spohn's SFC

I'm getting one the second they start producing them again, but I still have questions that need answered...

1.) Are there any problems with its clearence of the exhaust system or the ground? (I plan on putting on Flowtech headers w/ a Hooker cat-back; no lowering of the car)

2.) What happens if I go w/ no coating? Will they rust or something.....or just be really ugly

3.) Is it even possible to work on the tranny, or anything under the car after this thing is put in?

4.) Should I do the exhaust first, just to make it easier on the muffler shop?

5.) When will they start producing them again? I can't take the squeaks anymore

Sorry for all the questions, but I don't want to paint myself in a corner for later mods.

As far as how they fit no one on this board will be able to tell you seeing how Steve is not designing them like the old style, tubing instead of boxed. I'm sure the new design will fit even tighter than the older, even though the old style fit really tight. Yes they will rust if you don't coat them with some sort of paint, I ordered mine bare and they had the surface protectant on them from the steel mill, what exatly this stuff is I don't know, but it's not designed to hold up its only a temperary protectant. If you plan on redoing your exhaust it would be better to hold off until you install the SFC's, especially if you plan on going with a custom job. The only problem with the stock exhaust that I had was one of the clamps needed to be rotated out of the way, other than that the SFC's fit tight.
