Spohn Adjustable poly-poly LCAs + relocation brackets, panhard bar, and Spohns SFCs...that comes to about 515 after shipping.

The SFCs will really tighten up your car and reduce alot of body flex. The LCAs and relocation brackets will really lock your tires to the road, and the panhard bar will help stiffen up the rear. I have 3 of the 4 mods on my car, with the relocation brackets going on this weekend and i am very impressed so far.

Does he really need relocation brackets if his car is not lowered?

I would definately go witht the SFC and LCAs, but if you're street/striping it, you might want to look at struts/shocks or new springs. However, there's no way you'll be able to stay w/in your $500 range if you opt for the SFC and Springs at once.

Just how often do you plan on taking it to the strip?

well if you only got $500, your best imporovement will be some sticky tires. All the suspension mods in the world won't help too much if your running tiny radials.

a couple of ppl told me that SFC's on a TTop car lead to a leaky roof because they direct all the chassis flex to the roof. is this true? any way, i'd go with the LCAs panhard rod and some poly bushings and if you have any $$$ left, a swaybar or two. just my $.02

Well, today I just installed Global West's steering brace (a.k.a. wonderbar) and this is definately a must have ($66 via nextgenparts.com).

I would also recommend Spohn's SFC ($199 coated)

KYB GR-2 struts/ Gas-a-Just shocks ($140)

And finally Spohn's Lower Control Arms ($105)

FOR A GRAND TOTAL OF $510!

Now of couse that doesn't include shipping and labor; and most people would recommend (myself included now after some research) the Spohn LCA Relocation Brackets ($65). Hope this helps.
