besides the benefits of liteweight and stronger than steel.......couldn't tell you. o it's more expensive so i guess that could make up the difference.

CM is much harder to weld and more likely to crack, it'll flex a lot less, sometimes that's good, sometimes it isn't all depends on your application. i had a CM chassis once and it was too stiff and cracked a lot. i like mild steel for most applications.
