I've been researching swapping the LO3 for a LO5 in the archives. It seems to be the most practical swap but I'm wondering if it will work with a T-5 tranny? Has anyone tried it? I spoke Scoggin Dickey and they say that no chip change or custom chip will be needed? Any running an LO5 with a stock chip?

Lots of people have put L98s in front of t5s. No problems.

I've found posts where you have recommend swapping the chip from a cop caprice ECM...this is my more specific question. Can this be done even though it would be shifted by a T5?
