Tuning A Tbi 350/305 - How?
Everyone always talks about what mods are going into their motor - but it seems its usually glossed over as to after-installation tweaks on the car. What can be done to really make a TBI motor scream to its fullest ability (assuming one doesn't have a scope or other computer-diagnostic-tools)? I could figure...
Timing (Advance to 6* or so)
Fuel Pressure (I dont have a gague - so its basically playing with
the hex-nut on top of my Holley unit)
Computer Mod (switch to a 350 computer)
What else is there? With a carb. you can re-jet and stuff, but what can we do?

If you dont use WinALDL (free download, check out Tas's link), the best you'll be able to do without a custom chip is fuel pressure. Check out this link,

That tell ya how to tune without a scan tool.
All the stuff carb guys can do by hand, we can do with custom proms, and then 10x more. Pull timing at top end if you're running N2O, add fuel here or there at very specific RPM ranges, just about anything. My nerdy *** really needs to get into that stuff.
