Cooling probs

Okay, i didn't know where to post this but since this board is my second home, i figured id place it here. Now that summers hit my car seems to overheat when i turn the ac on. I mean it goes all the way up to 240-250, by which point i suck it up, turn the ac off, and begin sweating. I have replaced the thermostat, radiator, fan belt is new, flush and fill w/ chemical flush stuff, proper mixture everything, and the car still heats up to about 220, even to around 240 sometimes. Im getting kinda ticked off but i suspect that the sending unit is bad or the gauge is wacked out. BTW, water pump is good cause i can look down in the radiator and see water gettin pushed through there real hard so i dont think thats it. Also, i dont have to worry about a fan relay, my cars fan is manually controlled by me. Any ideas guys?

what mixture of water to coolant do you have? what degree is your stat? it is really hot here and with a 160* stat in stop and go driving with the AC on it gets up to maybe 180* but usually stays right around 160*

You said you have a manually controlled fan temp switch?? The only other thing I can even think of if you did that would be an intake manifold gasket leak, but you would be having more problems than just overheating....

If you've already forked out the money for a new radiator and water pump and went to a lower temp t-stat and temp switch, my advice is to rip all the new stuff off and find yourself another motor

Seriously....what an enigma

the motor aint going nowhere, i get all my parts at a discount because i know this lady thats gets a hold of stuff for me for real cheap so i dont fork out THAT much. You had a point, if intake manifold was leaking id be having some serious probs, and, also, my car still runs pretty badass. At the same time i have a coolant leak that i cant seem to find. I mean, its really small, im losing a very small amount of fluid, but still, the fluid is going somewhere. What about it just being a screwy gauge? I killed that T/A in my profile just 2 or 3 weeks ago. His cars fairly fast and i still beat the crap out of him.
