Hope some good news comes from these meetings
BTW- My 91 civi caprice's best time is a 16.599 @ 81mph with a 2.2 60ft. The engine from the TBI to the exhaust manifolds was all stock. I pulled the front of the airbox off and had a gutted cat with a good dual glasspack exhaust. It had a stock tranny, driveshaft, rear end with 2.56 gears and no posi, and stock suspension. It also had slightly shorter than stock rear tires that were each different brands and I paid $30 for both used.
Maybe I need to go ahead and put an 8.5" rear with 3.08s or 3.42s in with the drag radials I just got for my impy?
Or maybe I should hook up my NX kit

It's a little far to drive from FL but I will gladly share my input. I would have to disagree an the point that noone is trying to make TBI's fasster. When I posted my Ram Air link I got over 400 hits and overloaded Tripods limit. As far as I can see TBI is the best of both worlds. The on the fly fuel metering and performance of TPI with some of the manual adjustability of carb. Now I may end up going with a much bigger TBI unit, but TBI is staing on my car. Feel free to check out my link and post or email me with questions. I am also open to improvement ideas and constructive criticism. I do think there is something out there that I haven't found that will make look better.

I don't think I'll be around for anything major, but I think I could make it up there in late July or early August. Hopefully you all won't be burnt out by then.
Tim, keep me updated with emails if ya can. Something of this caliber has been a long time coming Oh yeah, when I do come up there I'll bring 2 cases of whatever you guys want. Nothing like beer to bring out the best ideas when building hot rods :lala:
