There is a car on the TPI board with:
305 5 speed.
ported stock heads.
stock valve sizes.
cam has lift of 443/462.
3:73 gears
It runs in the 12's N/A
I'd say for cheap that they will make power.

a tpi head is an L98 head. they are pretty *** castings really. they can support a bunch of power if they are worked a bit.
my opinion is that for the cost of having a set of heads rebuilt ot handle big power you can buy a set of heads that are brand new and have a warranty against defects.
