we have the engine in the ****** running with the knock sensor unplugged for the trip this weekend so far it has not backfired thru the tbi the first time. We are getting a little rich smell and black soot in the tail pipes. The engine has the oxygen sensor mounted below the collector on a set of streetrod short headers 16-20 inches from the head. We didn't change the coolant temp senors in the intake when we done the swap. The intake is off a ex-cop car is there a difference from the truck sensor? How can you check it?
