Has anyone designed and/or built the ultimate TBI 350?
I've done quite a bit of reading on this board concerning the eternal "Can a TBI be used to make *** HP? I'm rebuilding the engine in my daily driver. It's a 1991 Chevy Silverado with the TBI 350. After 243,000 miles, it needed some pep. It's being bored .40 over, receiving Wiseco flat top pistons, and Dart large valve head for an overall compression ratio of 10:1. I'm also buying 6 inch rods for longevity. What I'm wondering is if anyone has designed and/or built a 400 HP+ TBI 350. I'm looking for a good cam/intake/TBI setup. I realize that I will have to have a custom chip burned, but that's not a problem. I will also be running headers, a 3 inch exhaust system, and high flow cat and muffler. I also know that I'll have to change my fuel pump. Basically, I'm wondering if it's possible, and if so, what parts do I use? I don't mind spending the money, I just don't want to waste it on parts that won't work well together. I'd really appreciate any and all input on this matter. Thanks for your help.

I letcha know soon. I'm converting my friends '90 T/A to TBI. He's got a ZZ4 shortblock, Sportsman II heads, 224/230 .500/.510 CompCam, headers and all that stuff.
We're feeding it with a 2" GM 454 TBI with 90 pph injectors.
