New times at Atco speedway

I went thursday night and got 4 runs in. See my sig for my new time. However, everyone I spoke seemed to be running much slower than normal. This was due to the 80% humidity. I want to go again next week with better weather conditions. Also, I did not take out my sub box that weighs 80lbs. I hoping to get under 15.5....think its attainable?

What kind of 60ft times are you getting?

How much gas do you have in your tank when you are running? If you run with less than a 1/4 tank and hook up well, remove your 80lbs of stereo eqiupment, you will be a lot closer if not there.

firecrow just asked the magic question i think. a while ago when blackbird305 went down he was running a touch over 87mph too, but his 60ft times were right around 2.10, so he was getting low 15.3's and high 15.2's out of it.
look into a little grip and do the aldl convertor lock up and you shoudl be able to get it done.

later

I feel like your a kindred spirit. A setup finally like mine... well at least the diff setup with the 3.23s. I have worked on the intake, K&N, RAM air, underpulley kit, GM b4c upgrade to the 700r4 tranny. and no stereo. I also have the 88 IROC-Z 16x8 wheels. They came stock on my SC for some odd reason, I had to buy 15x7 so I can run in winter. I'm planning on getting eibach springs and a 1le aluminum driveshaft this summer. Cut weight with the driveshaft, free up some hp cuz easier to spin up a lighter driveshaft. Its already gripping real well with 16x8 but I also spent a bit for tires, went with Z rated BFgoodrich G-force tires, also have a TCC lockup to boot. Hope to get some times in one day this summer.
