I didn't see the article about removing the hood seal from the back of the hood....
I would have to imagine it's fairly simple, but what does it do?? And is it worth it?

i havent noticed anything dramatic by removing the seal but i did remove that along with that fire protection thing or whatever it is that looks like s**t. but a plus on removing the seal..if u have an open element, it sounds awesome when u rev it up. its like a strong hissing sound. well at least on my car. i drive my car in the rain ALL the time and i havent had any problems without the seal. pull out all those white things when the seal is removed... looks tight.
