theres a good to this and a bad thing, good thing only one code, bad thing when i looked it up it says it could be a bad computer, or fuel pump, my problem started i over heat, not like smoke, but to the point check engine light comes on, then sometimes when i sit at a light i stall, any input would be great, thanks

Ok tell me if these are the syptoms your car is having... Ok you go out and it starts everytime but often tries to die when put into gear? if you try to rev it right after startup it will jump wildly and sometimes die. once you get it moving alittle and you get the engine warm it seems to run good and not stall? if your having these syptoms it sounds like the fuel pump to me. thats exactly what mine did.

ok did you say your overheated when it started? well my car got HOT then suddenly barely ran (15mph all the way home) i thought something was bad wrong and i knew nothing about cars at the time. i started thinking logically and saw it was getting no fuel to the TBI and the pump was not priming. so i ripped into it and changed the pump and it ran perfect. i dont know why it decided to kill the pump when it overheated...seems like my car is always doing stupid crap like that.
